We had a busy morning today. Bridget had a playdate with a school friend and I had arranged a second playdate with the Widget and another friend. Gidget went with Widget and myself, Bridget went off with her babysitter.
Babysitting 3 1/2 hrs - $35
Food for drinks (I packed Bridget & co. snacks) - $4
Widget, friend and Gidget were taken an Arboretum. We are members so that was free, but we did stop at Dunkin Donut for a quick snack on our way home. $3.11
When we all came home, I made a homemade pizza while B, G, and W practiced riding their bikes. Roasted red pepper and onion pizza was delicious and the four of us finished the entire pie. Sliced apples and cucumbers rounded out our tasty lunch.
I am not foreseeing any further expenses today. However, if I had planned better I could have saved the $7.11 on miscellaneous snacks. I really need to purchase re-usable drinking bottles in convenient kid sizes. That might become part of the kids' Christmas stockings. Hmm, must do a bit of investigation....
